Conspiracy of Kindness
Last Sunday I spoke on serving and ran out of time before I could give you something to do about it.
Here’s your challenge:
Years ago we embraced the phrase “Conspiracy of Kindness.” A culture of taking intentional steps to do random acts of kindness for others. For example, picking a fire station or police station and bringing them desert or pizza regularly just to say thanks and show appreciation! No strings attached. Another idea is to chose a shift at a hospital and deliver cookies or a dessert. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you what to do. Recruit a friend or two to help. These are just ideas! Schools, hospitals, police station, fire station are great places to start.
There are also opportunities within ECF. Currently we are looking for a new Daily Bread lead. Robert Orlando has built it into a great resource for hundreds of families in Lane County. He’s also very involved organizing medical, dental and construction teams that serve the country of Guatemala. Robert is a fantastic guy with a heart of gold! If you’d be interested in finding out what that lead role looks like contact Our church offices or email firstname.lastname@example.org. April 1 is our deadline so pray that the right person emerges.
If you’re looking to serve a Sunday team or Kids Min are always eager to add people to the team. Kids Ministry is a high impact ministry and the presence of joyful, enthusiastic volunteers make it happen!
That’s just a few things to pray about and consider where you might fit in. God has designed an important task with your name on it and we want to help you find it!
