Ministries Contact Serve

In your City

Impacting the community around us is one of the greatest things we can do as a church family. ECF is committed to doing our part to make Eugene/Springfield a better place for everyone to live. As we change for the better, each day we have the opportunity to spread that change through service projects that touch the very neighborhoods we occupy.

See below for several opportunities you have to serve monthly or on a one-time basis. For more information contact the person listed in your area of interest or call 541.344.3380.

Daily Bread

Every Tuesday and Thursday, from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, we distribute food to those in need. This is a ministry that relies on volunteers and food donations. Daily Bread is located to the north of the main building, across the parking lot.

Daily Bread is a member agency of Food for Lane County. We provide emergency food items to households that fall within the set financial guidelines and are in our district outlined by FFLC. If you are in need of food, there may be a food pantry closer to where you live. Please check with Food for Lane County (343-2822) for a current listing of the local food pantries in your area.

For more information or if you would like to get involved or donate food, contact Lori King at the church office, 541.344.3380 ext. 32.

Hospital Hospitality

Would you like to be a part of a team that blesses the local hospitals by delivering snacks to them during the month? This hospital hospitality ministry serves all three local hospitals every Tuesday. This includes the Emergency Department and ICU. There are 63 volunteer opportunities to deliver snacks every month! If you would like to volunteer and help out with this impacting ministry please contact Joyce Garibay, 686-0867.

Celebrate Recovery

The purpose of ECF’s Celebrate Recovery ministry is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the “Eight Recovery Principles.” This experience allows us to “be change”. We open the door by sharing our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another. In addition, we become willing to accept God’s grace in solving our life’s problems.

By working and applying these biblical principles, we begin to grow spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others. As we progress through the program we discover our personal, loving and forgiving Higher Power – Jesus Christ, the one and only, true Higher Power.
