Mannahouse is a non-denominational Christian church with campuses here in Eugene as well as in the Portland, Vancouver areas. Our church family passionately follows Jesus, we love God, and we love His people. We’re a local church with a global vision. Our church community is faithfully on the move, pressing forward into the unknown, the uncomfortable, and the new, constantly pursuing His presence and the comfort of His promises. As we pursue God’s mission to see the Kingdom of God established across the earth, we’re called to be a church that equips God’s people for the journey ahead. We take this mission very seriously, and no matter where you are at in your journey, you are welcome here. If you’ve never visited Mannahouse’s Eugene Campus, we hope you’ll take some time to visit one of our weekend services. If you have any questions or have trouble finding anything on our site, please contact us.

We are Passionately in Love with Jesus

We believe that Jesus is at the center of everything—all of creation and all of God’s Word point to Jesus Christ and serve to lift Him high. It is our ambition to value Jesus and His glory above all else. Knowing Jesus is our highest goal and greatest prize. Our call in this life is to love Him above all else and obey His command to go and tell other people the good news. Because He first loved us, we love Him.

We are Directed by God’s Word

We believe that the Bible is the Word of God—fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, and having supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct. There is no substitute for it. God’s Word is absolutely trustworthy and guides all we believe and do.

We are Empowered by the Holy Spirit

God knew we could never experience the life He designed for us without the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit conforms us to the image of Christ to display God’s wisdom and glory to the world. We cannot do anything apart from the power of God’s Holy Spirit. Only He can make a holy people. Jesus said it was better for Him to go away that He might send us a Helper.

We believe it is necessary for every believer to understand the unique ways in which the Holy Spirit helps and empowers us every day:

  • To remind us of all that Jesus taught
  • To bear witness to our spirit that we are God’s children
  • To convict us of our sins
  • To produce obedience and bear good fruit in our lives

We are Relentless in Mission

We are relentless in mission to see the earth filled with the glory of God. This is the reason for which God created the universe and everything in it. God, through Christ and by the power of the Holy Spirit, has established His church to accomplish this mission—that each of us would know, love, and obey Him to declare and demonstrate the gospel.

Jesus has done all of the work necessary to accomplish this mission. He has promised that it will be done and that He will be with us. Therefore, until Jesus returns, everything we do is committed to this aim: to glorify God by taking the gospel of Jesus Christ to people from every tongue, tribe, and nation.

We are Devoted to Equipping Disciples

The body of Christ grows together when each member is working properly. So, we are devoted to equipping the members of our church family to serve Jesus well with the gifts they have each been given. Equipping is a means for redemption as we engage in the pursuit of seeing people restored to right knowledge, affections, and actions.

From Sunday morning to groups that meet throughout the week we seek to equip the whole person—head, heart, and hands—“for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ” (Ephesians 4:13).

We are Passionate about Reaching People Everywhere

As believers, it can be easy to be overwhelmed by the state of affairs in the world around us. Read any news headline and the situation is obvious—our world is broken, we as humans are broken, and we desperately need a solution. God has provided the solution through the person and work of Jesus. He is the rescue plan that will save us and we need to let the world know.

This doesn’t mean simply preaching on a street corner or liking certain posts on social media. Reaching people everywhere means we are engaged in our culture, creating opportunities and building relationships with those around us and those around the world. We’re a local church with a global vision and a desire to see people here and around the world know Jesus.

We are Committed to Covenant Community

It goes without saying that relationships are vital to human existence. We all long to be known, and we know others by relating and connecting to them. As a church family, we are committed to covenant relationships with one another, following the example Jesus demonstrated when he covenanted with us by His blood shed on the cross.

We are a church who believes we need each other for love and support on our journey, to obey all that Jesus commanded, and to remain faithful to Him until the end. Jesus taught that our love for one another will be the first and best testimony of Him to the world. As each member of the Body loves, serves, and commits to one another in our community, we can more fully demonstrate and declare the gospel of Jesus to others.

We are Courageous in Giving

Jesus is our greatest example of giving and generosity.  Present and engaged with people, He gave of Himself that others might have life. In the same way, we recognize that God has given us time, talent and resources so that others might be loved, served and given life. As we are courageous in faithfully and sacrificially giving what we have, our time, talents and resources, God partners with us to see a multiplied impact in the lives of people here in our community and around the world.
